bougie_mane
Hello, noob here, have a question. I noticed that when my boss compiles scripts he has a different set of users/groups listed on the security tab of the properties window for the exe than when I compile a script. I'm not sure if this is important, but I'm having trouble running a compiled script on a customers computer. I was able to run it successfully on my own machine and on another customers PC, but I cant figure out why it wont run on the most recent one and Im curious if its tied to the users listed on the security tab of the properties. Any insights?
Developers Jos Posted March 30, 2018 Developers Share Posted March 30, 2018 The security properties are in general inherited from the directory where the script is compiled to. You will have to provide way more info in case you want to get help on why a script works on your PC and fails on another. bougie_mane
I will start with the directory and see if that helps. If not I will come back with much more detail! Thank you!
