I'm trying to send keys on the password text box but ControlSend and ControlSetText is not working. here's the Link . Is it maybe because the password text box is an ActiveX object? Also, you would generally want to use the _IE* functions when dealing with a webpage in IE rather than the Control* commands. iSkramz Posted May 10, 2018 Author Share Posted May 10, 2018 im trying to set the value of the password textbox (the one with the padlock icon). the password textbox is an activex object. i tried using Robot (java.awt) and it works as expected. so im guessing i need something like Robot which uses native system events.
