Microsoft Intune

Hey All,

There is a lot of information out there, and I am trying to put it all into context for Microsoft Intune. I am looking for some knowledge on this.

So does Intune require an AD Azure subscription? Can I just pay for an Intune license and not need Azure?  Can I use regular Active Directory?

Does Azure give you the benefit of enrolling systems that are remote and not on the company network? i.e. employee owned laptops.

What is ADFS vs AD Azure?

So I can push down applications and Windows updates with Intune, from what I read. Can I push down Operating Systems with this?

Has anyone used SOTI MobiControl? How does Intune compare with this?

Does in allow the IT team to remote control computers that are enrolled, even though the computer is not on the domain?

Thanks for any help/information you can offer.

Moved to a more appropriate forum

There are plenty of Intune forums out there, which would be better at answering these questions for you. Have you posted on any of these?
