Thany
I've got a super simple script that trigger by Ctrl+Alt+S and sends, among others, the Del key. Instead, it sends Ctrl+Alt+Del (I've read that that's impossible, so I guess not entirely :)), probably because on the physical keyboard, Ctrl+Alt are still pressed by the time the Del key is sent. How do I make it send ONLY the keys I tell it to send and not the ones on the physical keyboard? Or iow, how do I make it ignore whatever the physical keyboard is doing? Here's my script: HotKeySet("!^s", "selectAndSave") Func selectAndSave() HotKeySet("!^s") Send("!s") Sleep(100) Send("^s") Sleep(100) Send("{DELETE}") HotKeySet("!^s", "selectAndSave") EndFunc While 1 Sleep(100) WEnd I got this mostly from the examples in the documentation. I have no idea why HotKeySet must be called three times like that, or why the While-loop must be there. But it works apart from that Ctrl+Alt+Del issue. Moderators JLogan3o13 Posted June 16, 2018 Moderators Share Posted June 16, 2018 You are seeing exactly why using Sends is not the most stable way of doing things. Perhaps if you explain what you are trying to accomplish we can show you a better way. "Profanity is the last vestige of the feeble mind.
