Scoox
Hi everyone, first post here from an AutoHotkey user now looking into AutoIT as a better alternative for GUI work. I was running through the "hello world" tutorial and noticed SciTE autocomplete isn't very complete, for instance, if I start typing "Msg" it will suggest "MsgBox", but it won't suggest "$MB_YESNO" if I type "$MB". I realise this the constant $MB_YESNO is defined in a file that's to be included in the script, and SciTE doesn't necessarily have knowledge of it. However if I type $MB_YESNO once anywhere in my file, the next time I type $MB it will suggest $MB_YESNO, so I'm wondering if there's any way to get SciTE to also include included files in autocomplete. Thanks!

Developers Jos Posted September 2, 2018 Developers Share Posted September 2, 2018 (edited) This is standard SciTE functionality, which we only tweaked a bit by automatically having the box popup. In the SciTE helpfile you find more about adding stuff to autocomplete and syntax highlighting.
