Cookid
So i'm trying to make this "copy" button, well, copy the output, but it doesnt work for the first second or two. At first I thought it was only the exit not working, but I tested the copying too. Sometimes it takes some time, and some other times it takes multiple clicks. GUICreate ('Main', 400 , 200) GUICtrlCreateInput($out,0,10,400,75,$SS_CENTER) GUISetState(@SW_SHOW) $copy = GUICtrlCreateButton("Copy",150,100,100,50) While 1 Switch GUIGetMsg() Case $GUI_EVENT_CLOSE ExitLoop Exit EndSwitch $copyb = GUIGetMsg() Select Case $copyb = $copy ClipPut($out) Exit EndSelect WEnd I think it might have something to do with two GUIGetMsg()'s but i'm very unsure. BrewManNH
Try this: #include <GUIConstantsEx.au3> #include <StaticConstants.au3> GUICreate('Main', 400, 200) $out = GUICtrlCreateInput("Test", 0, 10, 400, 75, $SS_CENTER) GUISetState(@SW_SHOW) $copy = GUICtrlCreateButton("Copy", 150, 100, 100, 50) While 1 Switch GUIGetMsg() Case $GUI_EVENT_CLOSE ExitLoop Exit Case $copy ClipPut($out) Exit EndSwitch WEnd You are trying to read the GUI messages too many times, one of them is eating all the clicks so the other won't work. You're already reading the GUI messages in the first instance, so use that one for the button detection.
