I have an AutoIT script It monitors 2 websites for content that applys to me and the services that I provide. One site is : www.Freelancer.com The other: www.PeoplePerHour.com Both sites publish new jobs on their site hourly or so. My AutoIT app, will view those sites and present new jobs to me in a grid that pops up on my screen. Lately, the app has stopped showing me any jobs from PeoplePerHour.
For freelancer.com, Inetget is giving full html but for peopleperhour, now its not coming.
Func _CheckPPH()

Hello All,
I am new to auto It and coding. Have only tried few automated logging for different websites. The login pages of the websites which I have worked on were having form name with input type as text and it seems straight forward to automate their login using "_IEFormElementSetValue".
I have got a url, it does not have any form in the source page. On further analyzing I found that It does call some login page separately as below.
function showLogin(arg) {
Global.pollingDialogDoc = null;
var fresh = jQuery.isValidString(arg) && "fresh" == arg ? !0 : !1, appFrame = $("#appFrame");
if ($("#modalFrame").show(), $("iframe").hide(), fresh || !appFrame.attr('src').match("html/login.html")) appFrame.attr('src', baseURL + 'html/login.html'),
appFrame.on('load', function() {
setTimeout(function() {
$("#modalFrame").hide(), appFrame.show();
}, 1);
}); else try {
window.frames.appFrame.updatePageFromIndex();
} catch (e) {}
}
I can simply use "send" and "mouse click" Method to automate the login but that doesn't seems very reliable. Is there any separate way to fill the user ID and password to the respective fields by having reference by frames or something.
Appreciate if any one can point me to correct document or help in any way...!

Autoit team are assbags. They want to hold out that they are soooo much smarter than everyone else and they really don't want to help anyone with their questions. In that case then why have a website. Oh i know, they get their kicks out of laughing at everyone.

I apologize for my poor coding skills, but only on occasion do I have a need to automate a repetitious task to save time. In a nutshell the following code is supposed to go to a website, save the site using Scrapbook (a plugin used by an older version of Firefox), rename the folder in Windows Explorer that Scrapbook assigns a random name for and then moves on to the next website, of which there are hundreds. Everything works, except after the address bar gets populated with the URL, it's like the ENTER key never gets pushed. The weird thing is, this worked yesterday before I left to go home and when I came in this morning it didn't work. The next thing I'll be trying to learn is to loop this with a the list of the websites. Thank you for your help!
WinActivate( "[CLASS:MozillaWindowClass]" ) ;Apply focus to the open Mozilla firefox window Sleep(500) Send("^k") ;Apply focus to the address bar Sleep(500) Send("www.WEBSITE.com {ENTER}") ;Send the website to the address bar Sleep(10000) ;Wait for the website to fully open Send("!c") ;Opens the drop down menu for Scrapbook Sleep(2000) Send("{ENTER}") ;Selects the default drop down selection of save Sleep(20000) WinActivate( "[CLASS:CabinetWClass]" ) ;Applies focus to the open Windows Explorer window where the websites are saved Sleep(1000) Send("{SPACE}") ; Selects a folder in the folders list Sleep(200) Send("{HOME}") ;Moves to the top folder Sleep(200) Send("{F2}") ;Keyboard shortcut to rename the folder Sleep(200) Send("www.WEBSITE.com {ENTER}") ;Applies the new name to the folder

Hi folks, I'm having problems with a screenshot capture script.
Let me explain.
Everyday I (and my colleagues at work) need to take some screenshots from a web-page. These screenshots are used to compile a report. Normally, I (and others) used to log in into the website and took screenshots of desired graphics and tables. This is tediuos and time consuming. To easy this task I made a script using autoit that basically logs into the website (user and password) and using some clicks, stroke send, coordinates, it is able to generate the graphics and save them to some folders into our network (this script saves arouund 50 pics. It works like a sharm.
In order to make things easier, I tried to schedule this script (compiled to a Screnpics.exe file) using task scheduler from windows. We already use this (task scheduler) to run some vbs scripts, some vba excel scripts and so on. The computer used for this tasks is a windows 7 desktop computer. Due to security policies, the computer locks after some time. All this tasks run in the locked computer.
My script screenpics.exe runs also from this locked computer. When the computer is unlocked, it does everything as expected. But, when it is locked, all the "pics" are BLACK. As I understand, it runs ok, but, as the "windows" are innactive, it prints what it "sees": a black rectangular.
Some details: The web-page with hold the information I need, it only works in Firefox and, because of this it couldn`t be managed by vba or some "getobject" like commands. In fact, it has some flash things that make it impossible to control programatically. So my script is based on mouse move to coordinates, mouse click, screen capture and so one.
So, I read many posts trying to figure out a way to overcome this, but... nothing came to mind. My first idea was try to unlock windows. Theses lead me to some posts with no solution. This is worse because I'm not a computer admin, so procedures that need to replace/change the register are not an option.
If someone has any idea, I'll be gratefull.
