CaptainBeardsEyesBeard
And doesn't seem to do anything. If I go to Tools I have the option to "Stop executing". Is there a way I can say when writing functions if hanging Restart application ?
Developers Jos Posted December 17, 2018 Developers Share Posted December 17, 2018 What about you figure out why it hangs? just add Opt("TrayIconDebug", 1) ;0=no info, 1=debug line info .. to your script and hover the system tray icon when it is hanging to understand at which statement it is hanging. CaptainBeardsEyesBeard
I don't think the application is hanging as I can click elements on it... But on Scite editor it still thinks it's executing? I'll try that Opt
Developers Jos Posted December 17, 2018 Developers Share Posted December 17, 2018 I am referring to the script, not the application! Just try it out! CaptainBeardsEyesBeard
Hey I've been trying to figure out that line. If I hover the system try icon of the SCITE editor I don't get anything useful. I just had the line near the beginning of one of my tests?
Bert
uggg.... Lets try this again. At the TOP of your script add this line: Opt("TrayIconDebug", 1) ;0=no info, 1=debug line info Then run your script. When your script hangs, put your mouse pointer on the icon for AutoIt that is in your system tray. You know, where the time is displayed and your sound icon sits. When you hover on the icon you will see a small popup telling you what line the script is on. CaptainBeardsEyesBeard
Gotcha. I found it's pausing on this line. Surely this would wait 10 seconds then continue the script?
