nwbyy
Hi. Sorry, if this is a stupid question, I'm not experienced. Sometimes I'm using a little program written in java called "shutdown remote" to shutdown remotly a PC with the smartphone. I would like to close it's window with a line like: WinClose("[CLASS:????????]", "") (Not kill the process) But I don't know how to get the class name of the window. File is called Shutdown_3.0.1.jar and the process is called javaw.exe. Are there some tools to lise the class names of running windows? Thanks in advance. nwbyy
I found out that it's possible to do this with the window title: WinClose("[TITLE:????????]", "") Works well for me. But if somebody could answer my question anyway it could be helpful for the future.
BrewManNH
You can use the Au3Info tool to get the class of the window. If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. Also, if it doesn't work on XP I can't help with that because I don't have access to XP, and I'm not going to.Give a programmer the correct code and he can do his work for a day.
