ProxAllium - Tor frontend and controller

ProxAllium

ProxAllium is a GUI frontend to Tor, it aims to make the usage of Tor easier by directly exposing its SOCK5 proxy which can be used to access the Tor network. The GUI is designed to be simple and user-friendly and it has a few other features... namely:

  1. Fully portable - doesn't write outside its own directory
  2. Integrated with Tor via the controller interface and properly communicates with it
  3. Minimize to tray
  4. Option to start with Windows
  5. Interface to configure bridges if Tor is censored in your region
  6. Many customization options are available via the config.ini file

The code is made with pure AutoIt, is fully open source and you are free to adapt it to your needs :)

The GitHub repository hosts all the releases and code. As a bonus it has a somewhat sparsely documented Tor UDF which can be used to control Tor, the code also demonstrates the proper usage of my Process UDF which might be interesting if you want to deal with processes.

As some of my friends know, I no longer use Windows as my main operating system. I switched to Linux a few months back as my primary operating system and haven't looked back since. Unfortunately that meant I could no longer use my own program due to it being Windows only... after a few months of playing around with C and making a basic program, I have decided to rewrite all of ProxAllium into C and make it cross-platform. Sadly this means that the AutoIt version of ProxAllium will not receive any major updates now.

Let me know if this is something you guys would use, I used it daily with my IRC client to connect via Tor (to protect my I.P). I hope you enjoy using my program! :D

Thanks for sharing bud, and an excellent program I have used many times. :)

First I would just like to say HELLO! to anyone reading. It has been a while since I've posted to the Forums but I'm always crawling around.
Now to the matter at hand. I have been looking high and low for a simplistic answer my burned out brain can find but to no avail. I've only recently upped my AutoIt skill and only by a little bit such as ordering my script neatly with my own UDFs and using Global/Dim more often to make my GUI creation understandable and easy to keep things orderly. My current problem however is figuring out how to make my newest endeavor work which is my own "Debugger". I've made a GUI with an Edit Control to display what my Variables are holding and other information from a concurrently running Script. I have access to all of the scripts I'm attempting to connect but I'm dumbfounded on how I would separately read variable information from one running script into another. I'll provide my "Debugger" script that I want to read variables into and a "Meta Script" I'd want to pass info from.

Please forgive anything ignorant but point it out if you will, I'll take any pointers to get better! (I usually use a Select to get $GUI_EVENT_CLOSE but this is early on)
Now if I made another script with a basic GUI similar to this and wanted to read say the GUI Width ($gMainW) into the Debugger Edit Control could I do it? If so, could I do it for every variable I have in a script? I read something about the Run function and adding the variables as an option parameter I believe which I think I could do with an array to keep it from being super long and ugly but would that be the only way to do this? Any information is going to be appreciated and thank you in advance for your time!

Edit: Sadly it just dawned on me that I could make a UDF that will create a child window that will do this instead of having a separate script trying to invade another... I'll still be keeping an eye on this for any comments but I apologize if I wasted your time!

      Hello eveyone,
I installed the latest version of Autoit (x86 - for greater compatibility) and SciTE.
Every time I want to generate the GUI code designed in Koda, the program freezes (only Koda, not SciTE).
Have you ever had this problem? Do you know how to fix it?
      Thanks!

Just a little program I whipped up a couple of days ago, to fill a need. It has a few nice features.
Basically it gives batch list ability, to any program that supports an input path on the command-line (%1 etc).
It only supports drag & drop, and uses RunWait .... but feel free to adapt to your needs.
Batch Create & Run v1.4.zip (BUGFIX)
      Batch Create & Run v1.5.zip
      OLDER DOWNLOADS

      Older Screenshot
NOTE - My usage was with a BAT file, so even though I coded for EXE files as well, that element remains untested, but should work.
EDIT - Of course, if you use a DOS (console) EXE, you might want to add a checkbox to specify that the @Comspec method should be used. Perhaps I will add that ... one day.  DONE
