@ijourneaux I have Server 2016 Datacenter and did a fresh install of the latest version of AutoIt and SciTE, and both installed just fine. I am able to write and deploy scripts from the machine no problem. What version of Server 2016, and what is the exact wording on the error message?

THere is no displayed error when I run the installer but in the event viewer I get

Activation of app Microsoft.Windows.Cortana_cw5n1h2txyewy!CortanaUI failed with error: This app can't be activated by the Built-in Administrator. See the Microsoft-Windows-TWinUI/Operational log for additional information.

I am a full admin on the server. I get exactly the same error when trying to install NotePad++

Then it is an issue with your Windows Install. All of my 2016 Servers have Notepad++, and a number of them are used as scripting repositories for both PowerShell and AutoIt. Sounds like the error is telling you where to begin looking for more information.
