controlclick not working on own buttons

Has anyone had instances  where a controlclick on an autoit GUI doesn't click the button but just puts the dotted border about it?

But appear to stack the clicks. At end of a function to do this:

click button 'Alan Williams',
do code,
click 'Jared Dudley',
do code,
click 'DeMarre Carroll'
do code

The code is processed but the buttons depress 1 after the other at the end -- not as scripted.

Is there a DOEVENTS equivalent maybe?

Can you please post your script, or a script that shows the issue you're experiencing? It's hard to diagnose a problem with a script if we don't know what the script is doing.

If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. Also, if it doesn't work on XP I can't help with that because I don't have access to XP, and I'm not going to.

I hereby grant any person the right to use any code I post, that I am the original author of, on the autoitscript.com forums, unless I've specifically stated otherwise in the code or the thread post. If you do use my code all I ask, as a courtesy, is to make note of where you got it from.
