Sending Values

I would like to know if there is a way to send a value from one autoit script to another.

for example:

in first.au3 there is a value "$test"

in second.au3 it says the value of "$test" is 20

how do i send the value of "$test" from second.au3 to first.au3

any ideas?

The only way I know how to do this without using an Ini or Text file is at Run Time. And I gave an example of how to do this in another post the other day: http://www.autoitscript.com/forum/index.ph...ndpost&p=136298

If someone else has a better idea, I'd like to see it myself.
