Mbee Posted April 3, 2019 Share Posted April 3, 2019 I have an input control whose text I change under various circumstances using ControlSetText(). It always works, but it can take 5-7 seconds for the revised text to display, regardless of whether I set the final 'flag' parameter to zero or non-zero. I'm doing this in event mode, and the sleep in the main loop is only 20 Msecs. What's the deal? What am I doing wrong? Thanks for helping! Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Thank you, @BrewManNH, for your reply. It appears this issue resulted from some unusual state my system was in. I thought it persisted even after a reboot, but I must have misremembered since as of today, the issue no longer occurs. Thank you for your time.
