Indexing File Attribut

Hello from france.

The FileGetAttrib function don't return the indexing attribut (+I or -I with attrib dos command).

Is there another way to obtain this information?

I would like to avoid to read the output stream of run(.. command.

Oh yes, i used this function ...

i think it would be possible to change attribut with the same way.

It's pretty slow and not recurcive, i will try.

The I attribut should be add to FileGetAttrib  and FileSetAttrib 😉

I'm trying to figure out why you'd need to know whether this attribute is set or not? What use is it? The Archive attribute is a similar one, hardly ever needed unless you're worried about backing up files, but I can't see a need for determining whether the file contents are indexed or not. Just curious is all.

When you use a ssd drive, the search indexing service should be disable.

You have a check box in each drive parameter to enable indexing content...too.

When you manually uncheck this checkbox, windows change attributs of all files on the disk.

I made a small program to do some settings after a fresh install of windows 10.

And so, i add more settings to automatically do that.
