vbMark
If I get an error in my script in SciTE the script stops on the line and shows the error (which is great). So then I want to exit from whatever mode the editor is in (debug I'm assuming) but cannot figure out how. What am I missing? Thanks! FrancescoDiMuro
@vbMark When you press Run or F5 (default) in SciTE editor, then you are running the script. You don't need to exit from nowhere, since you don't go anywhere when you run your script Click here to see my signature: Spoiler ALWAYS GOOD TO READ: Forum Rules Forum Etiquette
vbMark
But when there is a script error the editor stops on the line and shows an error. I can't get out of this error mode.
BrewManNH
That just means that the script stopped executing and it's showing you in your script where (and what) the error is. You're back into editing mode at that point. If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. Also, if it doesn't work on XP I can't help with that because I don't have access to XP, and I'm not going to.Give a programmer the correct code and he can do his work for a day.
