Parthptl
Hey All, still learning AutoIT. I had a simple question regarding AUTOIT scripting. Does this support Oracle E business suit? So, for example in Oracle E business suit there a lot of drop down menus. Also, I am using MouseClick with Coordinates, and that's very inefficient as the menu changes often. How can I write a script that says to select specific test, and not the relying on the coordinates? Any example would be appreciated. So, in a dropdown you would have three options: Option A Option B Option C I would like to select option A. Anyway to do that?
FrancescoDiMuro
@Parthptl You could use AutoItWindowInfoTool to spy the control you want to interact with, and then use Win* and/or Control* functions to do almost whatever you want. Take a look at them in the Help file Click here to see my signature: Spoiler ALWAYS GOOD TO READ: Forum Rules Forum Etiquette
Nine
I believe Oracle is mostly using Java. So you should probably be using UIAutomation look at FAQ # 31 “They did not know it was impossible, so they did it” ― Mark Twain Spoiler Block all input without UAC Save/Retrieve Images to/from Text Monitor Management (VCP commands) Tool to search in text (au3) files Date Range Picker Virtual Desktop Manager Sudoku Game 2020 Overlapped Named Pipe IPC HotString 2.0 - Hot keys with string x64 Bitwise Operations Multi-keyboards HotKeySet Recursive Array Display Fast and simple WCD IPC Multiple Folders Selector Printer Manager GIF Animation (cached) Screen Scraping Multi-Threading Made Easy
