Array variable has incorrect number of subscripts or subscript dimension range exceeded

Recommended Posts

I have a program with an array that includes 800 items. When I try to run it, it gives me this error (that, or "unterminated string"). What could be the issue?

The error goes away when I decrease the size of the array. How can I have my array contain 800 items without getting an error?

Likely a bug in your code, but no way to tell since you haven't shown us any. 🙄

I fixed that issue, but now I'm getting the unterminated string error because the array exceeds the max length for a line (it was like 9000 characters)

how should I approach this issue

Then try and make up a script that works the same and shows the problem. Otherwise there's nothing we can do to help.

If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. Also, if it doesn't work on XP I can't help with that because I don't have access to XP, and I'm not going to.
