After installing the latest Autoit and the latest Scite I found out that the function _WordMacroRun has been dropped. I REALLY need this. I uninstalled Autoit and Scite. I installed Autoit 3.3.8.1 This reinstated _WordMacroRun and a host of other Word functions However, I encounter an error installing Scite4Autoit3.exe. My scripts produce errors. I am using Scite 3.2.0 on my main laptop and have been for several years. I cant find any link that installs anything other than version 4.x.x.x I think that I need Scite 3.2.0, at least I would like to try this. Is there a link anywhere for Scite 3.2.0?? Developers Jos Posted August 20, 2019 Developers Share Posted August 20, 2019 This has nothing to do with SciTE$AUtoIt3 and you just have to open the helpfile and search for _WordMacroRun, you will find: Quote Word UDF - Script Breaking Changes The Word UDF was completely rewritten to support new file formats and new features of Microsoft Word. This means that scripts written for AutoIt up to version 3.3.8.1 won't run with later versions and need to be modified. The following table lists the differences between the old and the new version.
