Script is making changes to the running script

Recommended Posts

I have wrote a script for a Firefox browser.  When i click the F5 to execute, the script just hangs till I click inside the autoit script.  That will cause the script to start but where ever i clicked to start the script inside the autoit, it will start sending (writing) the command that I intended to send to the Firefox into the autoit script.  For example if i am filling a form and sending characters to the Firefox to fill the username, it will end up in my autoit script rather than Firefox browser!!!  I have uninstall and reinstall autoit to no avail.

Also worth to note that if i make a executable file and run it from the window scheduler, it will work fine, but i like to debug and this is a huge inconvenience to me to constantly create an executable to debug my script!

I tried to google or look through forum, but i had no luck in finding an answer.

Thank you for your time and any help

Post your script.

If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. Also, if it doesn't work on XP I can't help with that because I don't have access to XP, and I'm not going to.

I hereby grant any person the right to use any code I post, that I am the original author of, on the autoitscript.com forums, unless I've specifically stated otherwise in the code or the thread post. If you do use my code all I ask, as a courtesy, is to make note of where you got it from.

this is a section of the code, but the characters "Z", "2", "3" and "1" I am sending will end up in my script rather than firefox!

#include <MsgBoxConstants.au3>

Global $DummyX
Global $DummyY
Global $ClaimAllX1
Global $ClaimAllY1
Global $ClaimAllX2
Global $ClaimAllY2

HotKeySet("{ESC}", "Terminate")
Func Terminate()
    msgbox(0,'Ending','Macro Ended')
    Exit
 EndFunc

WinActivate("Vikings: War of Clans | Plarium.com - Mozilla Firefox")
Sleep(500)

; Dummy Location(empty field) on map
$DummyX = 39
$DummyY = 133

; Claim All Button
$ClaimAllX1 = 1115
$ClaimAllY1 = 884
$ClaimAllX2 = 1181
$ClaimAllY2 = 893

OneSet()

Func OneSet()

   MouseClick("Left", $DummyX, $DummyY)
   Sleep(Random(100,150,1))

   Send("Z")
   Sleep(Random(2000,2100,1))

SeanD215,

Welcome to the AutoIt forum.

Unfortunately you appear to have missed the Forum rules on your way in. Please read them now - particularly the bit about not discussing game automation - and then you will understand why you will get no help and this thread will now be locked.

See you soon with a legitimate question I hope.
