WinAPIIcons.au3 include error

 Share

Recommended Posts

I'm trying to compile a script, using content I gleaned from one of the UDFs, specifically for function, _GUICtrlStatusBar_SetIcon.
Upon trying to compile, I get an error that it can't find the include, WinAPIIcons.au3.
I can't find it on my system, but it runs fine from within the Scite Editor, just won't compile to an EXE
To make sure I didn't do anything wrong, I even tried to compile "Example 1" for that function (_GUICtrlStatusBar_SetIcon), same error.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Van

van_renier,

That file is present on my system as "M:\Program\AutoIt3\Include\WinAPIIcons.au3" - i.e. a standard library within the standard installation. Do you not have it there?

What AutoIt version are you running?

That is really strange.  You cannot run example 1 if you don't have the WinAPIIcons.au3.  I commented it out and it won't run.  So you must have it.

What kind of AutoIt installation did you do ?  Directly from AutoIt web site, or any other way ? Do you have the latest version ?
