Nine 932 Posted March 12, 2020 I do not have and do not know 7z, but after 2 minutes or research, I easily found that there is a switch that can show progress (-bsp1) : https://sevenzip.osdn.jp/chm/cmdline/switches/bs.htm By the comment, I have read, it seems that it will show a percentage of progress on stdout. I believe you could read the stream during the run and show a progress bar without difficulties. Look help file about reading stream under Run and StdoutRead functions. Look help file about progress bar under ProgressSet, ProgressOn and ProgressOff functions. Not much of a signature, but working on it... Please read my posts from the thread https://www.autoitscript.com/forum/topic/201647-solved-zipping-folders-from-the-path-given/ When you use 7zG.exe, you will get a progress window. 1 AlMax3000 reacted to this "In the beginning the Universe was created. I noticed that I gave you the suggestion with 7zG.exe over 3 months ago, -> http://; https://www.autoitscript.com/forum/topic/200978-7-zip-compressor/ As long as the file(s) is (are) reasonably large, a fully acceptable progress window will appear. For a small file a progress bar is finished in ms, of course. EDIT : Thanks @Melba23 for your comment. Edited March 12, 2020 by Musashi "In the beginning the Universe was created.
