remove vertical scroll bar with IE.au3?

Recommended Posts

Is it possible to remove the greyed out vertical scroll bar in an IE.au3 ?

$oIE = ObjCreate("Shell.Explorer.2")

$GUIActiveX = GUICtrlCreateObj($oIE, 0, 0, 930,705)

$oIE.navigate("@ScriptDir@\test.html")

$oIE = 0

I have a page that does not require scrolling, yet a scroll bar is present.

Hello,

The only thing I currently can think of is by modifing your HTML file and insert the <body scroll=no> tag.

e.g.

<html>
<body scroll=no>
test.
</body>
</html>

The following should work as well without modifying the HTML:
$oIE.document.body.scroll = "no"

SciTe Debug mode - it's magic: #AutoIt3Wrapper_run_debug_mode=Y

Doesn't work needs to be ripped out of the troubleshooting lexicon. It means that what you tried did not produce the results you expected. It begs the questions 1) what did you try?, 2) what did you expect? and 3) what happened instead?

Reproducer: a small (the smallest?) piece of stand-alone code that demonstrates your trouble
