IPC Techniques through ROT Objects
An obvious use of ROT objects is in connection with tasks such as inter-process communication (IPC). The advantage of using ROT objects for these tasks is partly that you can handle large amounts of data and partly that you can handle the vast majority of AutoIt data types.
This thread implements a UDF for inter-process communication between two AutoIt scripts based on ROT objects.
