spuuunit
I want to be able to run a Autoit script within code. Everything should be exactly as if I was double clicking the Autoit script to start it. I have tried Run("C:\script.au3"), that does nothing. I have also tried ShellExecute("C:\script.au3"), but that gives an error if I don't have the same includes in both scripts ( hard to explain... ) . The third option is to automate it: open window - select file - Enter, but I'd rather avoid messing with window handling and such. So is there a way of doing this? Moderators Melba23 Posted July 9, 2020 Moderators Share Posted July 9, 2020 (edited) Moved to the appropriate forum, as the AutoIt Example Scripts forum very clearly states: Quote Share your cool AutoIt scripts, UDFs and applications with others. Do not post general support questions here, instead use the AutoIt Help and Support forums. 7 years a member and posting in completely the wrong place? Please engage brain before posting in future! spuuunit
I actually solved this myself. ShellExecute just needed a "workingdir". Like so: ShellExecute("C:\folder\script.au3", "", "C:\folder")
