spuuunit
My text file (.ini file) looks like this: Quote 1 2 3 I want to change it to this: Quote 4 5 6 This is my code: FileOpen("selected.ini", 2) FileWrite("selected.ini", "1" & @CRLF & "2" & @CRLF & "3") FileClose("selected.ini") My issue is that I only want to save / change selected.ini one time. My code saves a blank selected.ini after FileOpen(), then again after FileWrite(). How can I avoid saving a blank selected.ini first? Developers Jos Posted July 11, 2020 Developers Share Posted July 11, 2020 FileOpen() creates a new file deleting the old content. Just create a new temporary INI file and copy it when you are done to the original file.
