COM Error Handler + Locale / Localization

For many of my UDF (published, and private) I use COM/AcitveX objects.
For each cases I use COM Error Handlers.
And sometimes I get errors like this:

Quote

    err.number is:         0x80040154
    err.windescription:    Klasa niezarejestrowana.

    err.description is:
    err.source is:
    err.helpfile is:
    err.helpcontext is:
    err.lastdllerror is:     0
    err.scriptline is:     38
    err.retcode is:     0x00000000

My question is:
Is it possible to change "Locale" for running AutoIt process, to get the sam error but with English description.

I mean I do not want to change entire Windows language settings, I just only wondering how to switch "localization" for this single running AutoIt process and get:

Quote

err.windescription:    class not registered

instead:

Quote

err.windescription:    Klasa niezarejestrowana.

Any help would be apreciated.

Regards

I think I found.. based on _WinAPI_SetThreadLocale.au3 / _WinAPI_GetThreadLocale.au3 example, I was able to create this following "QuickExample" :

#include <APILocaleConstants.au3>
#include <APIResConstants.au3>
#include <MsgBoxConstants.au3>
#include <WinAPILocale.au3>
#include <WinAPIRes.au3>
#include <WinAPISys.au3>

_Example()

Func _Example()
    Local $oErrorHandler = ObjEvent("AutoIt.Error", "_ErrFunc")
    #forceref $oErrorHandler

    ConsoleWrite('! Resources.dll >> ' & @ScriptDir & '\Extras\Resources.dll' & @CRLF)

    Local $hInstance = _WinAPI_LoadLibraryEx(@ScriptDir & '\Extras\Resources.dll', $LOAD_LIBRARY_AS_DATAFILE)
    If Not $hInstance Then
        MsgBox(($MB_ICONERROR + $MB_SYSTEMMODAL), 'Error', @ScriptDir & '\Extras\Resources.dll not found.')
        Exit
    EndIf

    ; Get the language (locale) identifier for the current process
    Local $iPrev
    If Number(_WinAPI_GetVersion()) >= 6.0 Then
        $iPrev = _WinAPI_GetThreadUILanguage()
    Else
        $iPrev = _WinAPI_GetThreadLocale()
    EndIf

    ; Why is the resource name for the string with ID = 6000 is 376? 6000 / 16 + 1 = 376
    Local $aData = _WinAPI_EnumResourceLanguages($hInstance, $RT_STRING, 376)
    If Not @error Then
;~      For $i = 1 To $aData[0]
        Local $i = 2
        If _WinAPI_GetVersion() >= 6.0 Then
            _WinAPI_SetThreadUILanguage($aData[$i])
        Else
            _WinAPI_SetThreadLocale($aData[$i])
        EndIf
;~          ConsoleWrite(StringFormat('%-10s - %s', _WinAPI_GetLocaleInfo($aData[$i], $LOCALE_SENGLANGUAGE), _WinAPI_LoadString($hInstance, 6000)) & @CRLF)
        ConsoleWrite('LOCALE = '&  _WinAPI_GetLocaleInfo($aData[$i], $LOCALE_SENGLANGUAGE) & @CRLF)
        ObjCreate('FakeObject')
;~      Next
    EndIf

    ; Restore the previous language for the current process
    If _WinAPI_GetVersion() >= 6.0 Then
        _WinAPI_SetThreadUILanguage($iPrev)
    Else
        _WinAPI_SetThreadLocale($iPrev)
    EndIf
EndFunc   ;==>_Example

; User's COM error function. Will be called if COM error occurs
Func _ErrFunc($oError)
    ; Do anything here.
    ConsoleWrite(@ScriptName & " (" & $oError.scriptline & ") : ==> COM Error intercepted !" & @CRLF & _
            @TAB & "err.number is: " & @TAB & @TAB & "0x" & Hex($oError.number) & @CRLF & _
            @TAB & "err.windescription:" & @TAB & $oError.windescription & @CRLF & _
            @TAB & "err.description is: " & @TAB & $oError.description & @CRLF & _
            @TAB & "err.source is: " & @TAB & @TAB & $oError.source & @CRLF & _
            @TAB & "err.helpfile is: " & @TAB & $oError.helpfile & @CRLF & _
            @TAB & "err.helpcontext is: " & @TAB & $oError.helpcontext & @CRLF & _
            @TAB & "err.lastdllerror is: " & @TAB & $oError.lastdllerror & @CRLF & _
            @TAB & "err.scriptline is: " & @TAB & $oError.scriptline & @CRLF & _
            @TAB & "err.retcode is: " & @TAB & "0x" & Hex($oError.retcode) & @CRLF & @CRLF)
EndFunc   ;==>_ErrFunc

and I have this results:

Quote

LOCALE = English
_____WinAPI_GetThreadLocale.au3 (42) : ==> COM Error intercepted !
    err.number is:         0x800401F3
    err.windescription:    Invalid class string

    err.description is:
    err.source is:
    err.helpfile is:
    err.helpcontext is:
    err.lastdllerror is:     0
    err.scriptline is:     42
    err.retcode is:     0x00000000

This is quite good solution that I can switch to English description .... for a moment.
It will be very handy when somebody would like to post some COMError descriptions, on the forum.

But maybe somebody have better example/solution.
For example without a need to use:

_WinAPI_LoadLibraryEx(@ScriptDir & '\Extras\Resources.dll', $LOAD_LIBRARY_AS_DATAFILE)

I mean without additional    Resources.dll

mLipok
