Quick listing of all files and folders in home drive?

How can I quickly list all files and folders, including hidden files and system files?

I am using this it took exactly 1 hour, including all file folders, hidden items and system files

I've looked at all of these threads but I have no idea which one to use.

Two suggestions right off the bat:

Get a handle to your output file using fileopen(), and use that for your FileWrites.

Drop the sorting altogether, at least long enough to see what the impact is.

Just over 3 minutes - C: drive holds 50Gb of data and just under a million files/folders:
