What is allowed with the AutoIt libraries and examples?

Recommended Posts

At
https://www.autoitscript.com/autoit3/docs/license.htm
is the AutoIt EULA.

There stands for example, that reverse engineering and disassembling isn't allowed.

But what is with the source code files itself?
For example the libaries in the "Include" directory? What is allowed with them?
Is it allowed to modify them? Is it allowed to use them in other languages?

And what is with the examples in the "Examples" directory?
Is it allowed to modify this one?

  • theuserbl changed the title to What is allowed with the AutoIt libraries and examples?

Common sense would say anything compiled goes against the EULA..
The libraries/UDF and examples are clear text. Change at will.

If you find something in those clear text files that you can use elsewhere, have your fun.

If you modify or expand or implement any betterment, share it as we all do in the forum.

Cheers
