I am new to the forum, but have used AutoIT a number of times over the years.
I am working on a fairly simple project that I'm 90% complete.
I am creating a script that pops up a GUI asking if you are working in the office or remote.  They want to know who is in the building in case of an emergency.

I have created the GUI with 2 buttons, Office and remote.  Database and table in MS SQL has been created and the Employee ID is the Primary key.
I get the full name and EmployeeID from AD.
The GUI then pops up and the user clicks Office or Remote which successfully writes the information into the database table.

My problem, I only want the user to see this GUI one time a day.  If the user logs off or has to reboot the PC I do not want it to display.
To solve this I am doing a _SQL_QuerySingleRow  select query using the Employee ID Where the clause is a variable.

;The below line works fine using the Employee ID litterly.
_SQL_QuerySingleRow(-1,"Select EmployeeID from dbo.Work_Location where dbo.Work_Location.EmployeeID = '191239  '",$aRow)

;The below line does not return any records, although the variable $EmpID has the User's Employee ID.
_SQL_QuerySingleRow(-1,"Select EmployeeID from dbo.Work_Location where dbo.Work_Location.EmployeeID = ' $EmpID ' ",$aRow)

I have tried different ways of quoting the variable within the statement.
What am I doing wrong?

_SQL_QuerySingleRow(-1,"Select EmployeeID from dbo.Work_Location where dbo.Work_Location.EmployeeID = '" & $EmpID & "'", $aRow)

Be sure to include required (?) trailing whitespaces in your variable $EmpID.
