Send Activation Key

Hello everyone,

I have been working on a new software package that requires an activation key provided once,  in order the application runs properly, i have tried several time to execute the following script with no result, the key won't be sent unfortunately.

on the previous one it worked then suddenly it failed, didn't figure out the cause

i haven't change the script , the issue that after i insert the activation code after the code of installation of the required application using run , the software is installed successfully but the activation key couldn't be sent, i tried to separate them each on a script and combine them in a bandle (from ivanti console) but still the same

Quite hard to help you here.  You do not give much details of what is happening.  Are you sure the field containing the activation code has the right focus when you send it ?  Is it a new version of the installer ?  What have you tried so far, beside sending the activation code in small chunks ?

Heather, have you checked to see if the installer supports command line switches? If it does then you can greatly simplify your script. If you don't know how to check, do this:

From a DOS prompt enter the full file path and file name along with a /? switch. For example the installer.exe file may be located in a folder on the root of your C drive and the folder is called test. So the path along with the switch would be C:\test\installer.exe /?

If the installer does support command line switches your DOS command should report a list of supported switches.
