Specify working directory (FileFindFirst/NextFile)

Recommended Posts

See example below

$search = FileFindFirstFile("d:\autoit\*.au3")
If $search = -1 Then
MsgBox(0, "Error", "No files/directories matched the search pattern")
    Exit
EndIf

While 1
    $file = FileFindNextFile($search)
    If @error Then ExitLoop

    MsgBox(4096, "File:", $file)
WEnd
FileClose($search)

See example below

$search = FileFindFirstFile("d:\autoit\*.au3")
If $search = -1 Then
MsgBox(0, "Error", "No files/directories matched the search pattern")
    Exit
EndIf

While 1
    $file = FileFindNextFile($search)
    If @error Then ExitLoop

    MsgBox(4096, "File:", $file)
WEnd
FileClose($search)
Good example. And with FileChangeDir() is:

FileChangeDir('d:\autoit')

$search = FileFindFirstFile("*.au3")
If $search = -1 Then
MsgBox(0, "Error", "No files/directories matched the search pattern")
    Exit
EndIf

While 1
    $file = FileFindNextFile($search)
    If @error Then ExitLoop

    MsgBox(4096, "File:", $file)
WEnd
FileClose($search)

Thanks for the replies all! I had no idea you could specify the path... and I guess I overlooked the FileChangeDir function. Sorry, I'm quite a bit off today. Thanks all!
