StringStripWS weirdness

Recommended Posts

hopefully me pasting this code here will translate properly...

the first instance of $user does not get stripped but the second instance does.  not sure what type of space is there but it is not getting stripped - killing me!

$user = "JNW "
;~ $user = "JNW "

$user = StringStripWS($user, 8)
$user = StringStripCR($user)

MsgBox(0,"", "_" & $user & "_")

any help is greatly appreciated!

hmm just copied it from the post and the weird spacing did not carry over - uploading the au3 file for testing

Copying from the code posted, both strings use a regular whitespace (0x20).

Use StringToASCIIArray to see which character is there.

EDIT: sorry, I just copied part of the code using the forum Quote function. It replaced 0xA0 by 0x32.
