HUD/GUI hook - (Locked)

Recommended Posts

Hi All,

I'm new here I previously used a tool very similar but less capable from what iv researched (I wont mention names to promote them here :')).

I am looking at trying to create a HUD or GUI that tracks/counts things from a game I play, the game is offline but I am wanting to start a little project into Autoit then potentially move it into my work life, the reason I wanted to start with a game based scriptis to keep my interest :).

I am basically wondering if its possible on hooking into a game, the easiest step would be for my GUI to show my current health as I know that that process is probably going to be the easiest to work out as it can be changed easily, then eventually work my way to counting how much gold iv collected or how many pigs iv killed. There is no real purpose to it, its more of a learning project for me for the time being and having 2 monitors I think it would be so Co to have a full GUI with loads of game related counts and things alongside the game and for it to update as I play :).

If anyone knows of how I could start with a basic GUI to show my current HP or how I hook autoit to a process and show it in a GUI as a value or a custom bar please let me know :), the game is an offline game so it won't have and server side changes etc and I never update it as I like the current version so I'm assuming the process Ids won't change? :)

Thanks in advance,

T

Welcome to the AutoIt forum.

Unfortunately you appear to have missed the Forum rules on your way in. Please read them now - particularly the bit about not discussing game automation - and then you will understand why you will get no help and this thread will now be locked.

See you soon with a legitimate question I hope.
