icarrion
Is it possible to change my apps name when sitting on the system tray to something else other than "autoit" ? I tried WinSetTitle but that didn't seem to work. Any Ideas what the command is for that. Many Thanks! Edited January 27, 2006 by icarrion
martin
Is it possible to change my apps name when sitting on the system tray to something else other than "autoit" ?If you run the Autoit script then the name in the tray will be 'Autoit - filename', so maybe this is what you are doing. If you compile the script to an exe then you can set the name of the exe and that will be the name in the tray. Serial port communications UDF Includes functions for binary transmission and reception.printing UDF Useful for graphs, forms, labels, reports etc.Add User Call Tips to SciTE for functions in UDFs not included with AutoIt and for your own scripts.Functions with parameters in OnEvent mode and for Hot Keys One function replaces GuiSetOnEvent, GuiCtrlSetOnEvent and HotKeySet.UDF IsConnected2 for notification of status of connected state of many urls or IPs, without slowing the script. But I need it to have several names... depending on the user selected option. The app can run more than 1 instance and the user gets confused as to which on to close. Thanks!
