File Path/Handle Question

So I wrote the following"

#include <WinAPIFiles.au3>

Local $FileOpen = FileOpen("C:\test.txt")
Local $FileContents = FileRead($FileOpen)
If $FileContents = "" Then
    FileClose($FileOpen)
    FileDelete($FileOpen)
Else
    FileClose($FileOpen)
EndIf

The aim is to check if a file is empty and delete it if it is. However, it seems FileDelete only works with a file path, not file handle. The script above is just an isolated unit test, I'll be integrating it into code where the parameter being passed is FileHandle, not file path. Is there any way for me to get filepath from file handle?

noellarkin,

I would use FileGetSize to check if the file is empty - then there are no handles to worry about.

Edit: Or you could use the _WinAPI_GetFinalPathNameByHandle function.
