sg08234
The general setup of my script (complete script see attached) is: GUICreate ... _GUICtrlEdit_Create($hHandle_GUI,'',10, 50, 480, 100, BitOR($WS_VSCROLL, $ES_MULTILINE, $ES_WANTRETURN, $ES_READONLY)) ... MsgBox ($MB_OK+$MB_SERVICE_NOTIFICATION,...) When MsgBox is started I can't scroll in the text windows of _GUICtrlEdit_Create: It's in a kind of locked / readonly-mode. Is there a way to make both windows (_GUICtrlEdit_Create and MsgBox) "usable"? Many thanks - Michael MsgBox_daily.au3

Moderators Melba23 Posted October 20, 2022 Moderators Share Posted October 20, 2022 sg08234, You need to open the dropdown to the left of the <AutoIt General Help and Support> section heading - then you get the sub forum headings available for selection. Solution sg08234 Posted October 21, 2022 Author Solution Share Posted October 21, 2022 Thanks for the links to threads! I "solved" my problem by creating a button in the main windows instead of calling a msgbox. Michael
