Piixels are not being read on many windows

The com calls

AutoITApp.AutoItSetOption (PixelCoordMode,1)

AutoITApp.PixelGetColour(x,y)

usually work well, but on a growing number of windows they appear not to work at all

Examples are:

     Dragon DMO (Nuance)

     Some Chrome Screens

     MSTSC (RDS) and Citrix windows

Mostly the applications not working are web-based applications.  We have named these windows Dark Screens

If one takes a screen dump and measrures the colors, they are there, but when measured from the pixel reader directly they return colours from the window underneath

 

Can you please throw some light on the dark screens and whether or not these are being addressed?

I am using the com module version 3.3.0.0 - AutoIT Version3 active X control

Can you throw any light on the Dark Windows please?
