Moved to the appropriate forum, as the Developer forum very clearly states:

Do not create AutoIt-related topics here, use the AutoIt General Help and Support or AutoIt Technical Discussion forums.

Hi @JLogan3o13,

I really don't wanted to bother you, sorry. I read that the forum should not contain AutoIt-related topics. In my perception this thread is more about GitHub and community work, instead of a topic of AutoIt. But thank you for the correction and movement 👍 , "AutoIt Projects and Collaboration" seems more applicable.

@TheDcoder:
I added "J2TeaM" to the list, thanks.

@Danp2:
I added "LoganCH" to the list, thanks.

Best regards
Sven

At least the UDF section is very old and just a copy of our wiki. For an up2date UDF list I recommend the wiki ;)

Does somebody knows whether the following is correct:

@TheSaint » Twombs » Projects

I am not quite sure of you @TheSaint, that you are the referenced GitHub profile owner?

Best regards
Sven

Yep, that's me, just keeping a bit of separation of projects I create under another name, though if you look into the code of some of them, you with find the creator listed as either TheSaint or (aka TheSaint). Basically these are projects I have done for the GOG community, and where I was unable to use my alias TheSaint, which was already in use by someone else. Eventually I decided it was smarter to have some separation between identities anyway, because the forum at GOG can be quite a cesspit much of the time, and I did not want to invite any trouble back here, as I tend to be rather outspoken at times.

I have occasionally referenced some of those projects here in Chat.

So if folk here think I have gone a bit quite with coding here, well aside from a whole swag of updates I have yet to upload for projects listed here, I have mostly been working on projects related to GOG. That said, I have been coding significantly less in the last 12 months or so, with not that many new projects, mostly just updating old ones.

There is something to be said for not having all your eggs in one basket too.

P.S. I am somewhat surprised it has taken this long for someone to twig about my parallel coding life ... kudos to you. :lol:

Hi @TheSaint,

you're pretty funny 😅 . I already had a look of your work on GitHub (only few things), interesting stuff 👍 .

Hi folks,

I added few people in the last days to the list in post #1.

Do you know more people here who use GitHub to host AutoIt projects? If not, I just will increase the list from time to time and maybe some individuals will fine together to contribute to the several AutoIt projects 😀 .

I wish you all a comfortable day 🌞 .

Best regards
Sven

Spam Call Filter : I didn't want to do it, but the daily calls from telemarketing spammers forced me to.

I really like the sound of this one.

Those spammers became so bad, I finally put my home phone off the hook permanently, and it has been that way for years now. Very few people use my home number, and just contact me by mobile phone. It helped that I got a good new mobile phone a few years ago, and have an unlimited plan.

Now you can use an old computer with a modem to fend off those telemarketers. I use a media center PC which shares my videos with friends. It runs 24/7 anyway.

I usually block the whole area code, like 773, 872 numbers. No one should call me from those areas.

* Before: I talked to the spammers and threatened them not to call me again, and put their numbers into complaints to the "do-not-call" registry. They might back off for a week. I ended up spending thousands of minutes just threatening those guys and writing complaints.

* Now: I talked to the new spammer and said, "Sorry, you just got banned." Then add his/her area code to my rule list. Next time he/she calls, the computer will take care of it.

My life got much easier since then. Those telemarketers finally let go of me. Maybe you can do the same. Free your home number from those nasty guys. That number belongs to you, not them.

Thanks @noellarkin 🤝 . Are any of these repository owners (active) in this forum?
I want to link only ones which are reachable here and on GitHub (at best).

Nice @noellarkin, I was able to match six out of seven people 👍 , thanks.
I updated the collection (post #1) to 26 people 😀 .

Btw.: GitHub user nomi-san don't have any AutoIt related repositories listed.

Home phone?  Lolz. No home phone. Put mobile phone silence unknown callers to on. No more spam

The problem is I don't know which one is from Healthcare insurance or Citibank, who has legitimate business with me.

Those guys usually use their own 1800 or 1888 numbers. Each time they use a different number. So it's impossible to put all of them into a contatc white list.
