here's a demo INI file

[section]
sectionpart1=blah

then u'd use this Autoit code

IniRead('myini.ini','section','sectionpart1',"DEFAULT")

that would return 'blah' or if sectionpart1 is blank it would return 'DEFAULT'

I can only guess that you're refering to INIRead and these words :

"The default value to return if the requested key is not found."

The default settings isn't something you make, and they're not in the INI.

What they mean, is that they want you to specify what INIRead should

return if it fails to read the file/key.

If you still don't understand, read, test and try to understand how this

script works..

Does anyone know how to make default settings with an ini-file? I have allready read the help file, but I down't understand what they mean.
