GreatWest Posted March 1, 2006 Share Posted March 1, 2006 I have an AutoIt script that is used to write data to a .csv file. I've been thinking about re-writing the script to write the data to an MSSQL database. I've read a lot about using AutoIt with SQL in this forum but I'm a bit confused on how to connect to the SQL database. I've connected to SQL databases before using VB scripts in .asp pages. On the web server we had to setup the ODBC connection. What I'd like to do is have my script setup so it can run on any PC and push the data to the SQL server. Is that possible? Also a lot of the SQL code is still more than I understand. Is there any tutorial that demonstrates how to setup a simple database and connect to it? Any help would be greatly appreciated. As for being a retard, I'm feeling like one. I pulled out the .asp pages I wrote over two years ago and can't make heads or tales of how I connected to the database.
