Current progress log in GUI

It is posible to display the written line of a progress (written in a log file) in realtime into a GUI ?

While 1
  $Lines=_FileCountLines( $sFilePath )
  If $Lines <> $OldLines Then

  $OldLines=$Lines
  Sleep (10)
WEnd

Or you could use tail and pipe the output to see if things changed.
