Add below command to the starting of your VB script to launch correctly.
 
 
DllCall("kernel32.dll", "int", "Wow64DisableWow64FsRedirection", "int", 1)
 
And then the VB script to start...
 
RunWait(@ComSpec & " /c " & 'cscript.exe "c:windowstemp*.vbs"')
 
Along with #RequireAdmin
 
This is for computers running x64 versions of windows

That's for the people who might still be trying to get a work-around to run vb scripts on win64bit....

Post and solutions matter....not how old the topic is...

Well it's best suited in the Example section as this is a support request which is past its "support by date". Also you can use ShellExecute(), which returns a PID.
