Repeating Keypress

Recommended Posts

I know there's gotta be a script out there for this, but the search one help me.

Basically all I want is a script that does the following:

Double press F1, F2, F3 every 10 seconds (or just always pressing would be fine too) with F11 as the exit key.

Thanks in advance.

While 1
Sleep(10 * 1000)
Send("{F1 2}{F2 2}{F3 2})")
WEnd

I guess that wasn't what I was trying to get because it didn't work out. Is there a way to make it so that it like this...

Press F1, wait 5 seconds press F1 again, wait 5 seconds, press F2, wait 5 seconds press F2 again, wait 5 seconds, press F3, wait 5 seconds, press F3, wait 5 seconds, Press F1 (basically this would just be a never ending loop).

Thanks again in advance.

cdkid gave you the guts, now take a look at Sleep() and Send() in the help file, and place those in the While/WEnd Loop that he's shown you there (While/WEnd also in the help file.

Common sense plays a role in the basics of understanding AutoIt... If you're lacking in that, do us all a favor, and step away from the computer.

I understand, that's why I gave you the things to look for in the help file. You also may want to look here: http://www.autoitscript.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=21048

I've actually downloaded that and tried it only to get an error message that I can't understand because it says...

non semi-colon is used for commands. ; Notice the "for" is highlighted and known as a command ^ERROR
