BlazeLondon Posted March 23, 2006 Share Posted March 23, 2006 My maxtor one touch external drive is detected by drivegettype correctly as REMOVABLE Its a USB device So are the IDE to USB cables I have for connecting laptop HDDs via USB LACIE and BUFFALO USB drives although in the device manager show under the USB bus as USB DISK are detected by AUTOIT as FIXED even tho they arent. They appear in device manager exactly the same way as my maxtor drive, under hard disks and also under the USB HUB as a USB drive. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
