I am interested in this because I am working on a project for school and I have always wondered how AutoIt does it. It would be very useful in understanding how utilities (like RawRite) function. All I am getting is linux source code and stuff about cd-rom burning. Who knows, maybe I'm just bad at searching. I know for a fact that what I am trying to accomplish is possible and has been done before. The only problem now is finding the correct information (preferably code ). Is anyone here willing to help?
