Combo Box - Making It Static

I am really sorry if this has been asked before. And maybe I am using the wrong tool - combo box. But without having to check every value before it is used is there any way to stop the person from chaging the value ? If this does not make any sense please let me know.

ControlDisable ()?

I really do not want to disable the control - I still want them to be able to pick from the list - just not be able to add to or remove from the list and then click the submit and take it as a value. I am going home and will pick this up later - I hope that someone has an answer. Thanks again

Try adding this to the Style of your combobox $CBS_DROPDOWNLIST

Try adding this to the Style of your combobox $CBS_DROPDOWNLIST

I tried this - and I am still able to change the text in the dropdown - I would like for the person to be able to click it but not be able to select the text and change it.

GUICtrlSetData($scriptor_Combo_1, "1|2|3|4|5|6|7|8|",$CBS_DROPDOWNLIST)

Is there anything else that I might be able to try?

u need to do it while creating the combo and not while adding data to it
