Findfirstfile - Help Needed

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I use the FindFirstFile funktion in my skript. And in the Autoit 3.1.1 you'll get the'.' and '..' of the directory returned.

But the beta version does not behave in the same way. there are missing these dots...

So is it possible to find out theres an updirectory ?

Or do I have to change my whole skript ?

I do not have an answer for you - but I can replicate the issue using:

C:\Program Files\AutoIt3\Examples\Helpfile\FileFindFirstFile.au3

I noticed that the production version of that file has this comment:

; Shows the filenames of all files in the current directory, note that "." and ".." are returned.

and the beta version...

; Shows the filenames of all files in the current directory.

I could not locate a thread that discussed this change or a work around for you... but here is a free bump.
