Filedelete?

I created a script and i would not delete the hidden + system files, unless you make them unhidden. :think:

Look at FileGetAttrib() ..

Yes, i tried that, and it works.

i was just wondering why it does not work with hidden+system files.

Is this done in purpose?

According to the table under #7 at http://www.claymania.com/dos-primer.html

DOS cannot delete hidden or system files either. (But Explorer can....)

Use Mozilla | Take a look at My Disorganized AutoIt stuff | Very very old: AutoBuilder 11 Jan 2005 prototype I need to update my sig!

The table is incorrect, CS. The DOS command below will delete a hidden file or any other attribute that I set it for.

Just goes to show: Don't believe everything you read on the internet :think: I wonder if the table is only accurate for *old* versions of DOS.
