blindwig Posted April 25, 2006 Share Posted April 25, 2006 I haven't tried your code, but the first thing I notice is that you send a message telling the user that the changes were made successfully, but nowhere in your code do you actually confirm that the changes were made - you don't check the returns for the RegWrite() and you don't do a RegRead() to verify the new info. By my trial and error, a limited user( users group) cannot write to the "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE" keys at all. just a heads up...
